Last Minute Christmas Decor: Simple Ideas for a Big Impact

With the holiday season in full swing, many of us are looking for quick and easy ways to add some festive cheer to our homes. Whether you're hosting a Christmas gathering or simply want to create a cozy atmosphere for your family, last-minute Christmas decor ideas can make a big impact without requiring a lot of time or effort.

I want to share four simple yet effective decor ideas that can transform your spaces into a winter wonderland.

Christmas is just 10 days away, so let's go!

Front Door Wreath with a Bow and Bells

One of the most iconic symbols of Christmas is the wreath, and it's a great way to add a festive touch to your front door.

I’ve heard so many times that people are scared of damaging their door….I have the PERFECT solution to this issue, y’all.

Enter: Plastic command hooks.

Throw up a wreath, add some bows or bells, and there you have a festive, fun, simple door.

Totally simple and totally versatile. You can use any wreath you already have or purchase one that fits your Christmas vibe. That plastic command hook makes it secure and worry-free for when you want to remove it.

Serving Tray or Riser with Pine Branches and Candles

Another fantastic idea is to create a centerpiece using a serving tray, riser, or even a charger plate. This decor piece can be used anywhere in your house, from an island in the kitchen to an entryway table or ottoman in the living room.

The How:

You need pine branches. Go outside and cut some fresh ones or you can even order them from Amazon…yes, they really have it all dont they. Add a candle, and you have a simple, wintery decor piece.

If you want to add some “fancy” to this setup, use a white, red, or champagne candle. I like to remove my labels to make it look more elegant.

And if they didn't already have it all, amazon also sells bells that can be used to spruce up any holiday decor setting.

We Love Garland For A Simple Christmas Look

If you're looking to add a touch of Christmas magic to your mantle, dining room table, dresser, or even underneath your TV stand, garland and white candles are the perfect combo.

Here is a link to my favorite one with a remote where you can create the most cozy vibe with adjustable lighting.

Basket with Throw Blanket and Pillows for Coziness

Want to know my pro tip for making baskets look overflowing with blankets to add to the coziness?

Amazon boxes…they should really just sponsor this post, am I right?

"So you don't have to fill the basket up on the bottom. You can either put in an Amazon box or stuffing or tissue paper or an old blanket that you're not going to see. And then set the two throw blankets and throw pillows on top."

This idea is not only simple but also budget-friendly. You can use items you already have in your home or easily find affordable options online. By arranging the throw blanket and pillows in the basket, you can instantly create a cozy and inviting space for cozy vibes.

Use simple materials and get creative with what you have, and you can transform your spaces into festive and inviting areas. The many fun uses of these ideas allow you to adapt them to your personal style and Christmas vibe. Are you a bright red or a burgundy Christmas girlie?
