MAYER DINING ROOM

Hosting, hosting, hosting! This dining room table, couch, and lower lumbar chairs were chosen with hosting as the top priority. These pieces were carefully selected to be able to function as a day to day dining room, but have the ability to expand and host double the amount of people. We were playing off the black appliances in the kitchen when we chose the black velvet chairs, which helps balance the aesthetics of the open concept kitchen and dining space. I wanted to go with an oval expanding table so we could host as many guests as possible. This room also doubles as a work space where I can sit on the couch and work and attend client meetings.

Pro tip: All the seating does not have to match. Mixing and matching brings character to the space, try a loveseat at the end of your dining room table to up-level your space!
